Our Wedding: 04/11/17

I wanted to write about our wedding from the moment we began to plan it, but wanted to keep so many things a surprise from our guest that it seemed impossible at the time. Our wedding took place on 4 th November 2017 and  it really was the most amazing day of our entire lives. We chose a Bonfire night wedding to line up with the one year anniversary of our engagement and in celebration of our most favourite time of the year. We wanted a rustic theme and a country side setting close to where we both grew up with a venue big enough for all of our closets family a friends.  We found a local barn on the tops not far from where Tom grew up, part wedding venue, part mountain rescue base and totally perfect. We chose the church closest to where I grew up for the ceremony and made sure that the short 20 minute drive between the two made the most of the amazing local scenery that we both love. New Year, New Kitchen

We moved into a our Victorian end terrace in April 2016 and began putting our own stamp on it in earnest. We were very lucky that the previous owners had looked after the house really well, leaving it in a lovely condition. Witch was lucky for us as house moves are expensive and there wasn't a lot left for us to start any major renovations.  Then in November 2017 Tom popped the question in our back garden, surrounded by fireworks! We spent the next 12 month planning and spending all our time and money organising our amazing wedding! It was pretty much all consuming and I loved every minute of it. Infact as the big day got closer one of my biggest fears was what the hell would i do with my time after we were married?
